Foreign. US ambassador to Hungary criticizes Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's support for Donald Trump.

“Keep fighting, Mr. President! We are with you !” writes Orbán in a post on Twitter in connection with the legal process against Trump in New York.
The post has caused David Pressman, the US ambassador to Hungary, to react.
In a response to Orbán, Pressman quotes a statement from Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártós that the Hungarian government does not interfere in the domestic politics of other countries.
David Pressman, who was appointed ambassador by the Biden administration, has argued a lot with Szijjártó in recent months. The US ambassador accuses Hungary of doing Putin's business, while Szijjártó has responded that “that era is over” when it was acceptable for foreign representatives to come and “tell us how to live in our own countries”.
