Migration Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard (M ) has tasked the Swedish Migration Agency with investigating how residence permits that are based on false information can be revoked.
These include so-called refugees who are on vacation in their home country. case speaks volumes for not providing correct information. Then an investigation must be started, work that has been extremely neglected under previous governments, says Maria Malmer Stenergard to Expressen.
The minister mentions that there is also extensive cheating with alleged students who in fact come to Sweden to do other things.
The Swedish Migration Agency must report the results of its investigation in June.
