Foreign. New Zealand Prime Minister Chris Hipkins was left speechless when asked to define what a woman is. In the end, he got out that gender is something “you define yourself”.

The absurd exchange took place at a press conference, where the journalist Sean Plunket asked the following question to Chris Hipkins:
– How do you and this government define a woman?
In the clip, which is now going viral on social media, you can see how the Prime Minister becomes asked and starts stuttering.
– Erm, to be honest, Sean… That question comes a bit out of the blue for me, he says after a moment of silence and continues:
– Well , biology, sex, gender… erm… [long silence]. People define themselves and their own gender.
The journalist then tries to get more clarity on the matter and asks the Prime Minister the same thing again by quoting Labor leader Keir Starmer's definition: “99.9 percent of women have no penis”. However, Hipkins only repeats what he previously said and notes that he has no prepared answer to the question.
