Foreign. Members of the FPÖ critical of immigration chose to leave the Austrian parliament when Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was to speak via video link this week, writes Swebbtv.

The FPÖ party, which is the country's third largest, considered the speech to be against Austria's tradition of neutrality and left small placards on their tables reading “place for neutrality” and “place for peace”.

Party leader Herbert Kickl says that it is sad that the FPÖ is the only party in parliament that takes Austria's long neutrality seriously.

Some people on social media speculate that Zelensky's popularity has declined and that he is wasting Ukrainian lives instead of seeking peace .
