Domestic. For the first time, voters place the Center Party on the left on the political scale. This is shown by the latest national SOM survey.

Since 2010, voters have considered that C has moved in an increasingly left-wing direction. Now, for the first time, the party is clearly on the left side of the scale when the population has its say.
Even the Green Party is considered to have become more left-wing, while the Sweden Democrats and the Christian Democrats, according to the voters, have become more right-oriented since 2014.

In addition, the first results and analyzes from the latest national SOM survey offer a gloomy picture.
On the question if Sweden is “heading in the right or wrong direction” the survey shows the most negative picture since the survey started. 67 percent answer “wrong way” compared to only 13 percent who answer “right way”.
Assessments of the Swedish economy have not been so negative since the financial crisis in the early 90s. In addition, there is a sharp increase in the percentage who feel that their own finances have deteriorated over the past 12 months, from 15 percent in 2021 to 34 percent in 2022.
