These iPhone cases look like Crocs

Crocs shoes can be personalized by attaching a variety of colorful charms. Case maker Casetify has now come up with something similar for the iPhone: the Push-In Case. This is an item into which you click all sorts of small plastic items. “A style icon,” Casetify calls it.

Casetify Push-In Cases

At Crocs they are called Jibbitz: small charms in the shape of a heart, teddy bear or rainbow that you attach to your shoes. The Casetify covers also have holes in which you can insert the usual happy items, such as a flower, smiley or fried egg sandwich, to be able to decorate it to your own taste. Casetify seems to focus mainly on children, but there are also some unusual items such as a packet of butter and the key of a motel.

The covers are available in stores for €52 and are available in the colors black, lilac, pink and beige. These are silicone cases in which 13 to 14 holes have been made. The cover is sufficiently decorated with about 5 to 6 items. The edges protrude slightly over the screen, so that the glass is protected in the event of a fall. According to Casetify, there is protection for a fall of up to 1.2 meters.

You can buy them for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, which are not exactly the devices that the average teenager walks around with. A set of five pins costs €22, where you can't choose yourself. In the ‘cottage core’ you get a mushroom, snail, strawberry, flower and duck, while the ‘peace love earth’ set comes with a teddy bear, heart-shaped globe, flower, smiling rainbow and a yin yang symbol. You can easily push them in and out of the case. The case is also fairly easy to put in your pocket, because they are smooth and fairly flat. Unfortunately, the Crocs pins (aka Jibbitz) do not fit in these cases.

The top piece in the collection is the Limited Edition Barbie set, which is for sale for €84, fortunately including a case and with free shipping. You'll then get a set of five pink items, including the Barbie logo, a denim jacket, heart-shaped sunglasses, a Barbie face, and a 1959 pin. Casetify already had a sticker case from Barbie, which is MagSafe-compatible. These Push-In cases are clearly not suitable for MagSafe.

Casetify wants to release more pin sets and cases in the future, also in collaboration with brands such as Barbie. Beautiful or not? You can decide for yourself, but given that these cases will mainly appeal to young people, we would have found cases for the non-Pro models more logical.
