Foreign. Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has called on Russians to “pirate and share” all material from Western media companies that have left Russia.

This includes companies like Disney, Warner Bros, Paramount, Sony, Netflix, Spotify and Amazon Prime video.
Medvedev , who is now the vice chairman of the Russian Security Council, is also urging Russians to post the material online and inflict maximum damage on the companies.
Russian authorities have also recently discussed the possibility of stripping some foreign content creators of some of their intellectual property rights in the country.
The former lawyer Medvedev tells RT that he knows that piracy causes great damage to the copyright companies and therefore previously had a negative attitude towards it.
– But now I treat this issue according to the principle “you get what you deserve”. Let them lose money, says Medvedev today.
