At iCulture we regularly write about streaming video services and useful features to get more out of these services. But what are you going to watch on your Apple devices? We pay attention to that in this section. You can watch various new films and series this weekend.

We hardly watch traditional TV anymore. Streaming video services such as Apple TV+ (try for free), Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video are more important than ever. But local providers such as NLZiet (two weeks free!), Videoland, CineMember and Ziggo also have plenty to offer. More series are added every week and it is so nice if you know which series, films and documentaries really stand out. We have therefore made a selection.

New at Apple TV+ from Wednesday: The Big Door Prize

Please note: only visible from Wednesday 29 March 2023, so not yet this weekend. After last weekend's heavily promoted Ted Lasso episodes by Apple, it's now time for a series on Apple TV + that has been given a little less marketing budget: The Big Door Prize. If you're not on top of it as an Apple TV+ fan, you might just overlook this series.

This comedy series starring Chris O'Dowd (The IT Crowd) is about a machine that suddenly appears in the supermarket of a small town. The machine turns out to be able to predict the future of people who look at it. This causes many people to rethink their previous life choices. Based on the book of the same name by M.O. Walsh. We also see Gabrielle Dennis, Damon Gupton and Josh Segarra in important roles. The first episodes can now be seen, the rest will follow weekly from April 5 to mid-May. There are 10 episodes in total.
