The country continues to be rocked by the violent protests against the pension reform. A new highlight came on Thursday evening when millions of people across France demonstrated.

In Bordeaux, town halls were set on fire, something that is getting a lot of attention.

– I am extremely shocked, says the city's mayor Pierre Hurmic.

He says he is “very hurt, very shocked” by the incident.

At the same time, 800,000 people demonstrated in Paris, according to Le Monde. At least 149 police officers were injured in the clashes, several of them seriously. At the same time, 172 people were arrested on Thursday.
