Bankruptcies increased in all industries except transport and warehousing and agriculture, forestry and fishing. In commerce and in hotels and restaurants, bankruptcies increased by 18 and 5 percent, respectively. In trade, 1,498 companies went bankrupt and in hotels and restaurants, 660 companies went bankrupt.

The number of employees affected by bankruptcy also increased in most industries, except transport and warehousing.

Most bankruptcies concerned companies without employees, but bankruptcies increased significantly more among companies with employees than among companies without employees. Bankruptcies in companies with two or more employees increased especially much.
