The Middle School has figured in less flattering contexts recently.

A student assistant at the school named Mustafa raped a twelve-year-old student in a school toilet on two occasions.

Most recently, it came to light that it was two student assistants at the same school who carried out a brutal assault by a father in connection with a visit to a bathhouse where the father's 11-year-old daughter was sexually assaulted by an immigrant gang.

Magnus Olsson (SD), opposition councillor, primary school politician and author of the board initiative, believes that it is of the utmost importance that he and other politicians get to meet the school management.

– Their way of handling the rapes leaves question marks, and we know that there have been other irregularities at Mellanhedsskolan, he says in a press release.

SD: s initiative also means that the control of the load the registration register for the employment of student assistants must be reviewed. The charge register that is displayed today is limited and does not show, for example, assault, drug offenses and theft, crimes for which the two student assistants behind the bathhouse assault had been convicted.

The elementary school politicians will meet the management of the Middle School in mid-April.
