– Qatar as a country, I think it is a system that works. Are there drugs? No. Is there crime? No. Is there crime in Sweden? Yes very much. Drugs? Yes. Qatar's system works. The Swedish system? It works, but if it works 100 percent, I don't know.
That's Zlatan's assessment of the Arab dictatorship in an interview with SVT Sport.
At a press conference on Monday, he described he his visit to Qatar during the football World Cup as “fantastic”:
– It was as cruel as possible.
Qatar received a lot of criticism from the outside world before the World Cup for the way guest workers were treated. Zlatan tells SVT that Qatar “gave opportunities to get jobs” but that he cannot comment on how the immigrants were treated as he was not there and saw it himself.
