Nomad and Anker have announced new iPhone chargers with MagSafe. 
Nomad Stand One MagSafe charger
The Nomad Stand One charger works with MagSafe and has the Made for iPhone logo, so you can charge with 15 Watt. This is a somewhat more expensive model with a good design, high-quality materials and a more luxurious appearance. You can choose from the colors silver and dark gray with a white charging puck with MagSafe. It takes up little space on your desk, but there is some empty space at the back, which could have easily accommodated an AirPods charger. It is also a pity that the viewing angle is not adjustable and is always 21 degrees. This will be easy to read for most people, but if you are a bit taller or shorter than the average person, it may not be ideal. Another point of attention is that the front is made of shiny glass, where fingerprints are easy to see.
Silicone material on the bottom prevents it from sliding. The high weight provides even more stability. Because of its weight, this is not a holder that you can easily take with you in your bag. It comes into its own in a permanent place on your desk, for example next to your computer screen. You can place the iPhone in portrait or landscape position on the holder, depending on the task. You can make video calls in portrait mode and you can watch a video in landscape mode.
There is a fixed USB-C cable made of braided textile, which unfortunately cannot be detached. The cable is 2 meters long, sufficient to reach a power strip. To charge at full speed, you need a 20 Watt power adapter, which you have to provide yourself. Nomad plans to charge $110 for it, a hefty price for a charger that only fits one device. Hopefully soon also at Dutch and Belgian accessory stores.
Anker MagSafe Charger
You will also find a new MagSafe charger at Anker that charges your iPhone with 15 Watts. This has a triangular 3-in-1 design and is the successor to the earlier 15 Watt model. This time it is not a cube, but a triangular model, called Anker 737 MagGo Charger. You can charge three devices at the same time. There is also a second 5 Watt Qi pad built in, on which you can charge a set of AirPods, for example. The Apple Watch charger protrudes from the side. You get a 30 Watt USB-C wall charger and a USB-C cable, so you're all set.
Anker has always been known for its low prices, while the 3-in-1 charger we are discussing here is a bit disappointing. The manufacturer plans to charge $155 for it, because in euros it is quickly moving towards &euro 160-180. However, this triangular charger (unlike its predecessor) will not be available exclusively in the Apple Store.
