At E3 2021, Square Enix and Japanese development studio Team Ninja, previously responsible for the soulslike action games Nioh and Nioh 2, presented the dark Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origins. Now there are the system requirements and a demo for the upcoming release.

Demo for the consoles, system requirements for the PC

The action RPG will be released on March 18, 2022 for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S. It can also be played on the PC from this day, but exclusively via the Epic Games Store. A demo version is available now for consoles to download from their respective stores, while PC players will have to make do with the official system requirements published via the game's Twitter account.

The information is not too detailed, but there is at least a performance target for the recommended hardware. The minimum requirements come with no indication of resolution or frame rate. At least a five-year-old AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or Intel's Core i7-6700 from 2015 is required. An AMD Radeon RX 470 or an actually more powerful GeForce GTX 1060 should be available as a graphics card. The system requirements do not reveal whether the 4 or 8 GB variant of the AMD graphics accelerator is meant; however, the Nvidia card mentions that the 3 GB version of the GTX 1060 is not sufficient. Square Enix sets the required RAM at 8 GB, while the game requires 80 GB on the HDD.

The publisher also continues to mention an HDD in the recommended specifications, but the RAM requirement doubles to 16 GB. In this case, a five-year-old Ryzen 5 1600 or a Core i7-8700 should be available as the processor. The requirements for the graphics cards also remain fairly moderate. For 60 FPS at Full HD resolution, a Radeon RX 5700 XT and a GeForce GTX 1660 in the super version are sufficient.
