Spring warm-up: GOG is also enticing with a spring discount campaign


As part of a big spring discount campaign, numerous games of all genres are reduced not only on Steam, but also on the DRM-free distribution platform GOG. Operator CD Projekt is once again enticing with discounts of “up to 90 percent”, which will last until the weekend.

Since yesterday evening, visitors of GOG.com or the associated launcher GOG Galaxy have been greeted with a corresponding announcement. The spring discount campaign will run until the end of March 20, 2023, as a corresponding timer on the website reveals. Typically for the platform (GOG = Good old Games), older games, indie titles and retro games, all of which are available without copy protection, are discounted.

A GOG sale without games from CD Projekt Red

Interestingly, CD Projekt's own Triple-A productions Cyberpunk 2077 (test) and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (next-gen test) are not reduced, although both Titles are currently discounted on Steam. The story RPGs Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales and Gwent: Rogue Mage, based on the Witcher card game Gwent, are also not reduced in price.
