In the 11th episode of CB-Funk, Jan and Fabian report on new and old problems with the Windows installation, talk about cheaper next-gen graphics cards and talk about connection points, optics and locking behavior of power cables in the PC. A look behind the scenes is of course also part of the game.

CB radio: The eleventh episode

Many users may not have noticed it yet, but Microsoft has really pulled it off with Windows 11 22H2: The current Windows operating system can also be installed in the Pro version without any trickery, just with a Microsoft account. And therefore an Internet connection is also required, which not only angers some users, but can also lead to bulky problems with missing drivers. That can be really annoying in everyday life, as Jan had to find out repeatedly himself in everyday editorial work. Fabian hasn't had to deal with this yet, but struggled with another problem on his last Windows installation.

A thematic regular on CB radio is gaming graphics cards. And this time, there's news that can at least inspire some cautious optimism: prices are slowly but steadily falling. Namely with Nvidia GeForce, AMD Radeon and also with Intel Arc. And apropos: The graphics card debut of the newcomer is no longer an option and is competing for market share with more attractive prices – and in the form of the Arc A380 (test) as the cheapest graphics card, both AV1 encoding and decoding, as Jan and Fabian in the following the release of the podcast episode.

Apart from that, new information about the market launch of the GeForce RTX 4070 can be elicited from the GPU industry. And then Jan and Fabian talk about benchmarks on Easter Sunday, cables on the back of the mainboard and upcoming games.
