Enel X Way has decided to review the subscription scheme for top-ups and to adjust it upwards the cost of the consumption rate for alternating current (AC) energy supplies. The new rates will come into effect from March 27th. But let's go in order and see what's new. which the company has decided to introduce.
NEW RATES 
Let's start with the increase in the consumption rate for alternating current charging. The company announces that from March 27 the cost will rise as a result. from the current 0.58 euro per kWh to a good 0.69 euro per kWh. No changes, however, as regards the consumption rates for direct current recharges (including HPC) which are as follows:
- Pay Per Use DC up to 150 kW: 0.89 euro per kWh
- Pay Per Use HPC over 150 kW: 0.99 euro per kWh
Let's move on to the subscriptions that provide for the purchase of a specific kWh package against a "facilitated" compared to consumption rates.
Enel X Way announces that Small and Large passes will become City and Travel. In addition, it will come; the new Travel Plus subscription. As for the old subscriptions, there is no registration fee. just a name change. In the face of an increase in the available kWh, the price also increases. Calculator in hand, the cost per kWh of the new City and Travel season tickets is higher than the previous one. This is the old subscription scheme.
- Flat Small: 70 kWh at 25 euros per month
- Flat Large: 145 kWh at 45 euros per month

- City: 80 kWh at 39 euros per month (until 1 August, then 49 euros)
- Travel: 160 kWh for 69 euros per month (until 1 August, then 79 euros)
- Travel Plus: 320 kWh for 99 euros per month (until August 1st, then 129 euros – Enel X Way card costing 16 euros free)
Therefore, if with the previous subscriptions the rate per kWh was around 0.36 euro (Small) and 0.31 euro (Large), now it rises to around 0.49 euro (City) and 0.43 euro (Travel ). Much more; however, the cost per kWh of the Travel Plus subscription is convenient, which is 100%. of about 0.31 euro per kWh. Season ticket, however, designed mainly only for those who travel a lot by electric car. It should be noted that the kWh prices of the new subscriptions were calculated with the promotional costs valid until August.
Enel X Way announces that starting from 27 March 2023, on the monthly renewal date, all season tickets will be updated automatically. Finally, the company says that thanks to the latest updates, it is possible to start from the app; possible to plan a trip.
