Mitsubishi presented the new plan "Challenge 2025" which illustrated its growth strategy in the coming years. NEW MODELS COMING SOON

Some, in fact, are already; make yourself explicit. For example, it is the PHEV version of the new Outlander is arriving for the European market. Thanks to the synergies of the Alliance, it will debut in also the heir of the ASX which will be; offered with electrified powertrains since, as mentioned at the beginning, it is only possible based on the Renault Captur. Two kei-cars are also planned, but obviously not for the Old Continent market.
According to the roadmap of the new models, it is necessary to have a new model. the launch of a new pickup is also expected. By 2030, the Japanese brand hopes to have half the of its global sales represented by electrified cars. In 2035, the Japanese company plans to reach a 100% share.
To advance the electrification plan, Mitsubishi will invest in around 1.5 billion euros in battery procurement. There is talk of reaching a supply of 15 GWh per year by the end of the decade. Thanks to the progressive expansion of the range of electrified cars, the Japanese brand will be able to; get to reduce CO2 emissions from new cars by 40% by 2030, compared to 2010.
