Almost eight years after the release of Cities: Skylines, publisher Paradox Interactive announces a sequel. Cities: Skylines II is slated for release later this year for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. However, there is no concrete release date or gameplay yet.
Paradox wants to set new genre standards
Paradox promises nothing less than the most realistic and largest city building simulation of all time with Cities: Skylines II full-bodied; the game will be revolutionary. Players should be able to build every community, city, metropolis and district imaginable, again having to consider residents, tourists and the economy, all of which come with their own requirements and needs. And traffic with cars, buses and trains should also play a role again.
