LG brought the new OLED televisions for 2023 to the LG Convention 2023 in the Frankfurt Eintracht stadium and, in addition to dates, also names the prices for Germany. In 2023, LG celebrates the 10th anniversary of its OLED technology.
The spearhead of LG's OLED product range this year are the new models of the OLED Z3, G3 and C3 series. The G3 and C3 series are equipped with the OLED evo panels, which in the new model series should again offer higher brightness and color accuracy as well as clarity and detail. The G3 series or the G3 models with 55, 65 and 75 inches is reserved for the so-called Brightness Booster Max technology from LG, which increases the brightness by up to 70 percent compared to conventional OLED TVs. With the “Gallery Design”, the G3 also offers seamless wall mounting.
G3 series starts at 2,800 euros
The G3 series with meta panel and “super anti-reflective coating” will be available in 77, 65 and 55 inches in addition to an 83-inch model. The models of the G3 series cost between 2,799 euros RRP (55 inches) and 8,699 euros RRP (83 inches).

C3 series with the widest range
With a total of six screen sizes, LG's C3 series offers the largest selection of the 2023 OLED model series. The C3 series ranges from 83 inches to 77, 65, 55 and 48 inches, again down to 42 inches. The C3 series costs between 1,699 euros RRP (42 inches) and 7,299 euros RRP (83 inches). The different endings such as C39, C38 and C37 with the additions LA and LC again indicate minimal differences in the equipment, the sales channel such as online shops or stationary trade and the color of the housing and base. The models of the Z3 series are 8K OLED televisions, which were previously feared that they would not come to Germany because of the tightened limits for the energy consumption of televisions by the EU. With an image size of 77 inches and 195 centimeters and an image size of 88 inches and 223 centimeters as well as prices of 29,999 euros RRP and 14,999 euros RRP respectively, they also occupy a niche.
M3 is coming in the second half of the year
The launch of the 97-inch LG Signature OLED TV M3 with zero-connect technology presented at CES 2023 is planned for the second half of 2023. Pricing and dates will be announced at a later date, LG said. The special feature of the M3 is the separate connection box, which transmits image signals wirelessly to the television, which no longer has a back or base with tangled cables. LG relies on its own wireless connection for this, which allows 4K with 120 Hz at a distance of up to 10 meters. The OLED M3 will be available in 77-inch, 83-inch and 97-inch sizes.
