Back in January, Micron's subsidiary brand Crucial presented the first DDR5 modules with unusual storage capacities of 24 GB and 48 GB. However, another supplier is now getting ahead of Crucial in online trading: the 24 and 48 GB models are already available in the Corsair Vengeance DDR5 series.
The Corsair has divided the new intermediate sizes of 24 GB and 48 GB per module into three kits with the following storage capacities:
- 48 GB (2 × 24 GB) with DDR5 -5200 (CL38) or DDR5-5600 (CL40)
- 96GB (2 × 48GB) with DDR5-5200 (CL38) or DDR5-5600 (CL40)
- 192GB (4 × 48GB) with DDR5-5200 (CL?)
A whopping 192 GB is then available in a four-pack of 48 GB modules. A quartet of 24 GB modules is again omitted, because the combined 96 GB is already reached with two of the larger modules. All kits are available in the simple design of the Vengeance series and as Vengeance RGB with colorful LED lighting at the top. Intel's XMP 3.0 profile is also supported.

The 192 GB kit, which according to Corsair works with DDR5-5200, should not follow until March. There are still no further details here.

There's still no trace of Crucial
Although Crucial is the first While the manufacturer announced DDR5 modules with 24 GB and 48 GB, these have not yet arrived in retail stores. When asked by the editors, there was no official date for the market launch. It is conceivable that the modules from the parent company Micron will initially be used in OEM systems.
