Foreign. On Sunday evening Swedish time, the US military shot another unknown object into the air on the orders of President Joe Biden.

The object, which is said to have shown no indication of surveillance capabilities, flew over Lake Huron, which is located between Michigan and Ontario in Canada.
According to the Pentagon, the object was moving in the vicinity of sensitive military locations in the United States. However, it was not assessed as a military threat.
“However, we assessed that it was a safety hazard to aviation and a threat to potential surveillance capabilities,” writes the Pentagon.
Airspace over Lake Michigan was briefly closed overnight, but soon reopened. Canada closed the airspace near Tobermory in Ontario for an air defense operation, reports SVT.
The object is one of several unknown objects that have been shot down lately, including a suspected Chinese spy balloon that was destroyed last Saturday. Other objects have been shot down over Alaska and the Yukon, one of which flew over Canada.
The United States imposed sanctions on seven Chinese technology companies this weekend.
