Domestic. A woman is sentenced by the Court of Appeal for calling a prosecutor a “pussy”. It all happened during the prosecutor's closing argument in a trial where the woman was the plaintiff, reports Dagens Juridik.

The woman states that during the interrogation the prosecutor had provoked her by asking the same question over and over again. When the prosecutor then claimed during her closing argument that she lied, she allegedly lost control.
The district court deemed her statement improper and sentenced her to pay a fine of SEK 500 for misconduct.
The Court of Appeal now determines the fine after finding that the woman had already been reprimanded by the chairman regarding her use of language. According to the Court of Appeal, the prosecutor had “in no way made a provocative statement or had a provocative tone”.
