Domestic. The Social Democrats in Botkyrka are drawn into a serious conflict over the party's cooperation with the Arbetarnas Bildningsförbund (ABF) in the area. It is about the Vårby network and other gang criminals who have taken over parts of ABF's operations.

The conflict escalated a year ago when the municipality decided to close down several leisure centers run by ABF Botkyrka/Salem after discovering that criminal elements had entered the business.
A an external review carried out by a security company pointed to the leisure farms as a haunt for criminals.
At the same time, a vote was also taking place within the Social Democrats in Botkyrka where party leader Ebba Östlin was voted out of her post. A number of new party members appeared at the special meeting, of which at least one person has connections to gang crime.
At the same time, several investigations are underway, within the municipality and ABF, which has notified the municipality. The Social Democrats' party secretary Tobias Baudin has also started an internal investigation.
Images have also been shown from when the police visited one of the leisure centers in the spring of 2020 and identified several people in the Vårby network, who were later convicted of serious crimes.
