The parent company of Apple retailer YourMacStore has been declared bankrupt. As a result, we do not recommend buying another iPhone or Mac through this online store for the time being, since you are not sure whether you will still receive it. Partnerships have also ended. 
YourMacStore bankrupt
Parent company Lavador Retail from Utrecht was declared bankrupt on Thursday. Online information shows that the parent company had only three employees, with the sole trade name being YourMacStore. The company sold various Apple products, including iPhones, iPads and Macs. YourMacStore often dived a few cents below Apple's suggested retail price to rank high in price comparison sites. iCulture received a notification from the affiliate network that the YourMacStore program will be terminated immediately.
Bankruptcy YourMacStore: how does it affect you?
In general, YourMacStore had a good reputation and was also affiliated with ThuisWinkel Waarborg, so that you have a point of contact in case of complaints and suspicions of deception. However, it does not constitute a guarantee in case of suspension of payment and bankruptcy, so you cannot get a refund through this organization. Anyone who still has a claim against YourMacStore will have to turn to the curator. Unfortunately, the chance that you will no longer receive delivery and lose your money is quite high.
The parent company was founded in 2013 and, according to the Chamber of Commerce registration, was engaged in: “The operation of web shops related to electronics, white goods, brown goods and other goods; the provision of consumer credit, hire purchase, installment purchase and other forms of consumer finance: holding activities.” The company had no physical locations and operated exclusively online. The well-known refurbished supplier Leapp is also located at the same address. It is not yet known whether they are also involved in the bankruptcy. There was a collaboration between both parties.
It is always a pity when a store closes. Especially for the employees involved, but also because you have less choice of places where you can buy your Apple products. This means that even more consolidation is taking place and that the following well-known stores will remain:
