In the quarter-finals of the women's Champions League, German champions VfL Wolfsburg will meet Paris St. Germain. The “wolves” last won the most coveted trophy in women's football in 2014. In 2016, 2018 and 2020, the women of Wolfsburg failed in the final at Olympique Lyon.
German semi-final?
FC Bayern as the second German representative gets it in the round of the top eight teams to do with Arsenal FC. If the two teams from the Bundesliga advance, they will meet directly in the semi-finals. In the further duels of the quarter-finals, defending champion Olympique Lyon was drawn to FC Chelsea and AS Roma meets FC Barcelona.
The former English top acted as “lucky fairy” in the draw at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon -Forward Ellen White, who won the European Championship with England in 2022. Quarterfinals home and away matches will be played on March 22nd and 29th. The final will take place in Eindhoven on June 3rd (kick-off 6pm CEST).
