Domestic. A man in his 50s in Kil was shot by the police after threatening officers with a knife last night.

The police were called at 01:17 to an apartment in Kil due to a man who threatened neighbors.
When the patrols arrived, the man barricaded himself in his apartment and conversations began that continued for hours.
– But at five o'clock the man suddenly came out with a whimper and directed a threat at the police who saw it necessary to use live fire, says police spokesperson Lars Hedelin to SVT.
The man was met and is taken to hospital with unclear injuries.
He is suspected of attempted murder, grossly unlawful threat to an official.
