Nintendo Direct: Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom news today from 11 p.m

In order to leave no doubt about Nintendo's plans with the Switch after the latest quarterly figures with lowered forecasts, the company has scheduled the first Nintendo Direct of the year for today at 11 p.m. German time .

The event will primarily focus on games for the switch that will be launched in the first half of 2023.

Zelda, Pikmin 4 and Octopath Traveler II

These games include titles such as Square Enix's Octopath Traveler II, Pikmin 4, and of course the much-anticipated Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, among others. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be released on May 12, 2023 for Nintendo Switch and is the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. In the new installment, Link will also take to the skies and explore the skies over Hyrule.

Date for Advance Wars Remake and more about the Mario movie?

In addition, there could also be a release date for the remake Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp, which was recently postponed without a new date. A first look at Metroid Prime 4 doesn't seem completely out of the question either. Nintendo probably won't miss another preview of “The Super Mario Bros. Movie”, which opens in theaters on April 7th. The computer-animated film was produced by Illumination Entertainment in cooperation with Nintendo.
