Domestic. Former Minister of Justice Morgan Johansson's (S) information about how it happened when his partner was caught for data breach is not correct. They are contradicted by the preliminary investigation and by the woman's ex-husband, who is now speaking out in Aftonbladet.

After Fria Tider published the information, which was very secret in the media, that it was Morgan Johansson's wife who was prosecuted for data breaches at Säpo, the former Social Democratic Minister of Justice chose to publicly comment on the information that was spread “on far-right sites and in social media”.

– It is implied that I would have something to do with this, that as Minister of Justice I would have acted to delay the investigation. These are lies that cannot go unchallenged, Morgan Johansson told Göteborgs-Posten on Thursday.

Morgan Johansson also sent comments in an email to Aftonbladet, where he laid much of the blame on his wife's ex-partner , who according to Johansson was her boss at Säpo.

According to the former Minister of Justice, it was the ex-partner who persuaded Emelie Johansson to carry out the data breach and who then also reported the crime.

But the the information does not match what is stated in the preliminary investigation. And the ex-partner doesn't recognize the description either, reports Aftonbladet.

– I never filed a report regarding this data breach. I have been suspected of instigating a data breach, but that suspicion was dropped after questioning, says the ex-partner to Aftonbladet.

It is also not true that he was the manager of Johansson's wife at Säpo.

– I was an IT security specialist. Emelie worked on the register control as an administrator, he tells the newspaper and adds:

– I have never been in a managerial position at the Security Police. Thus not.
