Weekend viewing tips: Bullet Train, Stromboli, Pamela and more

At iCulture we regularly write about streaming video services and useful features to get more out of these services. But what are you going to watch on your Apple devices? We pay attention to that in this section. You can watch various new films and series this weekend. We hardly watch traditional TV anymore. Streaming video services such as Apple TV+ (try for free), Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video are more important than ever. But local providers such as NLZiet (two weeks free!), Videoland, CineMember and Ziggo also have plenty to offer. More series are added every week and it is so nice if you know which series, films and documentaries really stand out. That is why we have made a selection.

New on Apple TV+: Dear Edward

This book adaptation is about a boy who was the only one to survive a plane crash. The first three episodes are now available, followed by a new one every week.

In the first episode of Dear Edward, we see hectic situations as families prepare for a flight to Los Angeles. What they don't know at the time is that the plane will crash with Edward as the only survivor. As a result, he can no longer make up for the quarrel he just had with his mother. The series is based on the book of the same name by Ann Napolitano, which describes how people deal with grief after a terrible event.
