Weapons, ammunition and “dangerous object” found in police raids in Stockholm

Domestic. The police's special operation in the capital continues. During Friday, several addresses were raided and weapons and ammunition were found in an apartment in Farsta and some type of dangerous object in a villa in Upplandsbro.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of preparing for public destruction in connection with a house search in a villa in Upplands Bro.

The residence has been evacuated and the police's bomb protection is conducting a technical investigation, writes the police on their website.

It is unclear what kind of object was found and they do not want to say the age of the person arrested. According to the police, the house search was carried out as part of another criminal investigation.

During another house search in Farsta in southern Stockholm, weapons and ammunition were found and two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of violating the weapons law.

The police carry out more checks as a result of the increasing wave of violence in Stockholm.
