In PassMark's CPU benchmark database, the Ryzen 9 7845HX flexes its muscles and now tops the rankings for the time being. The new-generation notebook processor with Zen 4 architecture puts a Core i9-12900HX in its place. However, the actual opponent is still missing.
With 46,791 points, the AMD Ryzen 9 7845HX now leads the PassMark rankings for notebook CPUs. It is 31 percent above the result of the Intel Core i9-12900HX (test). The AMD CPU presented in January has 12 Zen 4 cores, 24 threads and a turbo clock of up to 5.2 GHz. The Intel counterpart from the Alder Lake generation also has 24 threads, but only has 8 large performance cores and another 8 smaller efficiency cores. The maximum turbo clock is 5.0 GHz.
