The new supercar? was also developed thanks to the direct collaboration of Capirossi. A project born 3 years ago when in Montecarlo the Italian rider met Paolo Mancini and Giorgio Pirolo, the people behind the Frangivento project. For the presentation of the GT65 windbreak? the Autodrome of Imola was chosen.
Therefore, the new GT65 represents an important evolution of the Sorpasso both from a design and mechanical point of view. The aerodynamics developed for this car refer to those of GT3 cars. The carbon fiber aerodynamic appendages, 20-inch OZ rims with Pirelli P Zero Trofeo tyres, a new front splitter and an eye-catching rear wing stand out. 4.8 meters long, weighs 1,480 kg.
The beating heart? a V10 engine of 5.2 liters already? seen inside the Sorpasso, capable of delivering 650 HP. The performances, therefore, are extremely high. The speed? maximum exceeds 330 km/h, while accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3 seconds. On the other hand, 200 km/h is reached in 9.8 seconds.
