Zach Hill, Intel's marketing manager for the Arc graphics cards, has devised a copy of the Intel Arc A750 (test) based on the popular terminal blocks with the help of Lego's BrickLink Studios. The project is now said to be 80 percent advanced and cost around 120 US dollars with up to 6,000 bricks.

For the last six months, Zachary (“z4xx0r”) Hill, Head of Intel Arc Technical Marketing, has been working on a Lego replica of the Arc A750 that will be featured in the In the meantime, around 80 percent is said to have progressed and was presented to the public for the first time. A Lego kit is also possible.

The replica should consist of up to 6,000 terminal blocks

In “Designing a Life-Sized Intel Arc GPU!” Hill presents the blueprint for an Intel Arc A750 (“Alchemist”), which was based on 5,000 to 6,000 bricks designed in the free Lego BrickLink Studio.

< p class="p text-width">If the project receives 10,000 votes, a release by Lego as an Ideas Set is at least conceivable, according to the marketing man. Whether the kit can be published as a template for the BrickLink Studio is also still unclear and will be announced at a later date. The top priority now is to complete the replica that is as detailed as possible.

In the video, Hill demonstrates how detailed the replica is with regard to the inner workings and the attachments such as the fans. However, the GPU label still has to be changed, because the originally planned Arc A770 could not be realized due to the lack of ARGB lighting. So the hobbyist decided on the Arc A750.

The required building blocks for the Lego alchemist cost less than half of the original, because the Intel Arc A750 LE is becoming current with prices starting at 299 euros.

Further information and the current state of affairs will be published at irregular intervals on Zach Hill's Twitch channel.
