Have a problem with your iPhone, iPad or Mac? Then you can go to the Apple Store. Make an appointment with the Genius Bar, so that you can go to your problem at a time of your choosing.

You can go to various places for an iPhone repair. If your device is still under warranty, it's best to go to Genius Bar in the Apple Store or to an authorized service provider. Where can you go for a repair appointment?

Is your iPhone, iPad or other Apple device eligible for one of Apple's repair programs or is there a defect that you want fixed? Then you can go to one of the four official Apple Stores in the Benelux:

  • Amsterdam
  • Haarlem
  • Den The Hague
  • Brussels

In addition, there are several Apple Authorized Service Providers throughout the country that resolve defects on Apple's behalf. You can also go here for an iPhone repair. You make the appointments at these branches via the Apple Support app, where you will also find all kinds of tips and manuals to solve the problem yourself.

How to use the Apple Support app to make an appointment:

    < li>Open the Apple Support app on your iPhone or iPad.
  1. Choose the product you are having a problem with.
  2. State what your problem is, for example power and battery.
  3. Read the tips and support articles. Can't figure it out or is a repair needed? Then choose Hand in for repair.
  4. Choose a location nearby, for example Apple Amsterdam.

  1. After you have chosen a location, you will immediately see when a time slot is available. Choose a time.
  2. Enter your phone number and tap Continue.
  3. Confirm the appointment.

You will now receive a confirmation via SMS , with the option to cancel the appointment at a later time.

Depending on the type of appointment, it may take a few days before you can go. If you don't see a suitable time, it is best to check again later in the day or the next day if there is room. You can also always plan an appointment far in advance and cancel it if a more suitable time becomes available. You can always cancel free of charge via the confirmation email.

 

Make an Apple Store appointment via Mac or PC

If you don't have an iPhone or iPad at hand or if one of these devices is defective, you can also schedule an appointment at the Genius Bar via the web. Here's how:

  1. On your Mac or PC, go to this page on the Apple website.
  2. Log in and you'll get an overview of your devices.< /li>
  3. Choose the type of device for which you want to make an appointment.
  4. Select a subject and specific complaint or problem.
  5. Choose Hand in for repair.
  6. Log in with your Apple ID.
  7. Choose a location and a desired time for your appointment.
  8. Confirm your appointment in the next screen.

Quick appointment at the Genius Bar

If you want an appointment quickly, you will notice that it is not so easy to do it via the app and website. Usually it's your turn in two weeks. What can help is to walk into the store at a quiet time and ask if you can be scheduled. You will then receive a text message when it is your turn. Quiet moments are, for example, Tuesday morning just after the store opens or an hour and a half before the store closes. This is only recommended if you live in the area or have to be in the city anyway, because you have no certainty that you can also be helped.
