You can adjust your Spotify profile picture in a few steps directly from the app. You can also change your name in Spotify in no time.

Adjust Spotify profile picture
Follow these steps to adjust your profile picture on Spotify:
- Open the Spotify app and go to the Home screen .
- Tap the gear at the top right to go to the settings.
- Tap your name, then tap Edit. Don't see the button? Then force close the app and go through the steps again.
- Choose a new photo.
You can also choose to remove your profile picture and revert to the default image. To do so, tap the option Delete current photo instead of uploading a new one.
Can't change your profile picture? Then it may be linked to your Facebook account. You must first disconnect the connection. If you created your account via Facebook, you may not be able to unlink it.
Edit Spotify profile name
With the same steps you can change your name from Spotify change:
- Open the Spotify app and go to the Home screen.
- Tap the gear at the top right to go to the settings.
- Tap your name, then tap Edit.
- Tap your name and type in a new profile name or nickname.
Your account is linked to your email address, so it doesn't matter which name you choose .
Your changes are immediately visible in all places where you are logged in to Spotify, including the desktop app or, for example, your television. By changing your Spotify photo and name, your entire profile is up-to-date again.
