Surrounded by Södertörn's forests, Jordbro south of Stockholm used to be described as a quiet but perhaps a bit boring urban area of a small town character.

But that is no longer the case. On January 4, a 25-year-old man was shot dead in Jordbro and another suffered life-threatening injuries.

This Sunday, when the police did a random check of a car in the area, they discovered that the car was filled with criminal immigrants and firearms. Among them a 14-year-old who was out to collect “a six-figure sum for snapping someone”, according to Aftonbladet.

Four people were arrested. And last night, explosions were heard throughout Jordbro when disgruntled criminals set fire to properties and cars and woke up residents.

– I woke up last night to rumbling and strong cones of light against the window. The time was 1:35 AM. It was the Stockholmpolice picket bus that sniffed around here on the farm, says a man on Sandstensvägen in Jordbro to Fria Tider.

– I went back to sleep, but at 02:55 there was a big explosion. I thought, what the hell have the babbeli-mena come up with now? And outside I saw three police cars, two fire engines and an officer's car arrive in three minutes.

Around the house cars and properties were on fire. The man says that the area has turned into “a hellhole” and that it feels like living in a war zone in a developing country.

The new year has started violently in Stockholm. On February 2, a gate was blown up in Grimsta, a little over an hour later a gate in Bagarmossen. On January 5, an apartment building in Farsta strand was blown up and on January 11, several people opened fire inside Kungsängen's commuter train station.

On January 12, an apartment building was shot at in Järfälla, and on January 16, a man in his 20s was shot in Solna. . A day later, the “hipster leftist's favorite pub” Faros was blown up at Nytorget on Södermalm.

– The whole of Södermalm became racist overnight, a witness in the area told Fria Tider after the incident.

A woman, also a resident of the district, says:

– I live in a rental property, but half of my block has paid many millions to avoid living in a multicultural shithole. But now we are there, also here in Sofia. It's like in Colombia or in Angered that now you have to think before you go near buildings, cars or garbage cans outdoors. Things can explode anytime and anywhere.

The day after the bomb on Södermalm, three floors of an office building in the Kista district were destroyed in a similar bombing. And another day later two apartments were fired upon while a man was abducted in central Stockholm.

On Thursday a man was shot dead in Solna, on Friday a stairwell in Skarpnäck was blown to pieces and the same evening a door in Fruängen.

The police are now open that they have lost control over immigrant violence in the capital and say that the criminals have taken over.

– It is hell in pure Swedish, we have failed, says commissioner Gunnar Appelgren to Aftonbladet.
