Domestic. Father of three Fredrik Andersson was shot dead at a gym in central Stockholm when he intervened against a 16-year-old gangster. Now four people are charged on suspicion of, among other things, murder.

Fredrik Andersson, who was a representative of the party Medborgerlig samling, was shot in the head when he tried to wrestle the young perpetrator down on March 28, 2022 at a gym in Vasastan in Stockholm.
16 -year-old had then tried to murder another person inside the premises, according to the indictment.
The murder charge is linked to preliminary investigations into serious public-dangerous destruction on March 20, 2022 in Södermalm, when a hand grenade was thrown into a restaurant.
Furthermore, the charge is linked to serious weapons crime where, among other things, the murder weapon that was used at the gym in Vasastan was found in an apartment in Johanneshov.
The suspected murderer, who was 16 years old at the time of the crime, is charged not only for the murder of Fredrik Andersson, but also for attempted murder at the gym in Vasastan, serious destruction of public property at the restaurant in Södermalm and aggravated armed robbery in an apartment in Johanneshov.
Fleshed back to his home country
The teenager has an immigrant background from Armenia and is said to have fled back to his home country to hide there after the murder. He was previously sentenced to youth service for assault.
During his escape in Armenia, he was granted Swedish citizenship, according to Aftonbladet.
In addition, three people are charged with aiding and abetting murder and aiding and abetting attempted murder. One of them was 18 at the time of the crime and the others in their 30s. According to the prosecutor, they have in various ways promoted the murder and the attempted murder.
– I have prosecuted for the murder of a visitor to the gym but also for the attempted murder of another person who was there. The investigation has shown nothing more than that the person who died was not the actual target but only intervened against the perpetrator, says District Attorney Daniel Suneson.
“Wrong value basis”
The murder on Fredrik Andersson, who worked as a barman and was a father of three, caused great outrage last year.
“We have lost a husband, a family man and an incredibly brave friend,” wrote the Medborgerlig samling party board on the party's website.< /p>
The party continued:
“'Wrong values' was written with a real scoop of irony on a T-shirt that Fredrik often wore. No Fredrik, your values really weren't wrong on. The fault can be found in the time and social development that the value base did not want to come to terms with.”
