Last year, ASRock took the first step into the monitor market. Now the next one will follow with new models for CES 2023. At the top is the PG34WQ15R3A with UWQHD on 34 inches, which offers a mini OLED display in the base as a new gimmick. Integrated WLAN antennas are another unique selling point at ASRock.
With the PG34WQ15R2B, ASRock presented the first gaming monitor with integrated WLAN antennas last September. It should be noted that this is not a complete WLAN module, but only a receiving unit in the base, which is connected to the on-board WLAN of a mainboard by cable. With this exclusive additional equipment, ASRock wants to attract attention in the crowded market. In a survey on ComputerBase, almost 60 percent of the readers found the feature at least practical, but also not absolutely necessary.
- Yes, monitors should not lack this feature. 10.9%
- The feature is useful, but not necessary. 58.8%
- No, I think that's superfluous. 30.4%

ASRock monitor with mini OLED display at CES
In the now expanded ASRock portfolio, four out of seven models can come up with WLAN antennas. The PG34WQ15R3A is also one of them, but it also has the aforementioned 1.3-inch mini OLED display as a special feature. This is located in the center of the front area of the stand and either displays the manufacturer's logo or specially selected graphics that can be set using the software, as the following video shows.
Again, it is a 34-inch monitor with the UWQHD resolution of 3,440 × 1,440 pixels in 21:9 format on a curved VA panel with a radius of 1.5 meters. With 165 Hz, 1 ms MPRT and DisplayHDR 400, the key data read like the debut. However, the whole thing is packed in a new housing, which also provides lighting effects on the back thanks to “Polychrome RGB”. The connections are once DisplayPort 1.4, twice HDMI 2.0 and a headphone output.
The single USB-C port is only used to power the small OLED display and the RGB lighting, writes ASRock on the product page.

Also new are the 27″ curved models PG27Q15R2A (WQHD, VA, 165 Hz) and PG27F15RS1A (FHD, VA, 240 Hz). In terms of the flat displays, the PG32QF2B with 32″, WQHD, VA and 165 Hz is now keeping company with the PG27FF1A (FHD, IPS, 165 Hz) already presented.
ASRock provides details about the individual monitors on its product pages. What is still missing, however, is information on prices and availability. However, a market launch in Germany is unlikely, because the manufacturer's first models have not yet arrived in local stores.
