Richard Jomshof's criticism of the Solna district court's acquittal against stone throwers in Rinkeby has caused a storm of left-wing criticism.
Ebba Busch tells TV4 Nyheterna that it is not appropriate for elected officials to comment on individuals verdicts or cases.
– That should be left out, says Busch.
Justice Minister Gunnar Strömmer is of a similar opinion.
“It is clear that politicians must be able to conduct a general debate based on the practice of the courts. But you as a legislator should refrain from entering into individual cases, especially in ongoing legal proceedings”, he writes in a comment to Ekot.
Busch and Strömmer, however, believe that Jomshof can debate the practice of the courts in general.< /p>
