Foreign. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is visiting US President Joe Biden at the White House today. This after making a trip to the USA under great secrecy.

It is Zelensky's first trip abroad since Russia invaded Ukraine 300 days ago, writes CNN.
The visit has been organized secretly by American and Ukrainian authorities over the past week. After arriving in Poland by train, the Ukrainian president flew to Washington on a US military aircraft. He arrived in the United States via Andrews Air Force Base just outside Washington DC.
During their meeting at the White House, Zelenskyi and Biden had a detailed discussion about the way forward for Ukraine.
– It feels good to have you here again, said President Joe Biden in the Oval Office at the beginning of the meeting.
– It is an honor to stand by your side in the common defense against the brutal war that Putin is waging, he continued .
Joe Biden announced that he will send nearly $2 billion in additional aid to Ukraine, including a sophisticated new air defense system.
Zelenskyy and Biden hold a joint press conference and later the ukrainian president give a speech to the congress.
