Indie App Santa 2022 Advent Calendar
The idea of an advent calendar is simple: between December 1 and December 24, you can open a different compartment every day. If you didn't receive an Advent calendar from your loved one or didn't buy one yourself, this is a nice digital alternative. Every day you will find a different app to download: free or with a significant discount. The promotion has been around for a few years and helps small, independent developers to get some extra publicity. This year there will be no less than 40 deals in the Advent calendar, in even more categories. The event has existed since 2020.
Initiator François Boulais does not want to say in advance which apps are participating, but there is at least one winner of an Apple Design Award. In half of the cases, these are also free downloads. The other half is related or discounted apps. For developers, it's a great opportunity to get extra attention, without having to spend money on search ads in the App Store, which ultimately only benefits Apple. With Indie App Santa you benefit directly as a user. Incidentally, it is so nice if you leave a positive review for the apps that you have discovered thanks to this promotion.
