Foreign. A French physics and chemistry professor, Michael Clavarie, warns that the Russian Vector laboratory in Siberia risks causing a new pandemic.

According to The Times, Russian scientists are currently studying a 10,000-year-old baby mammoth with the goal of reviving viruses that are 400,000 years old.
Clavarie points out that the research is “very, very risky” and doesn't have much faith that everything at the Vector laboratory is modern, as it has previously made headlines by producing chemical weapons.
