In October, a king cobra escaped from Skansenakvariet due to a violation of the Swedish Agency for Agriculture's regulations on how a terrarium should be constructed, when someone made a hole in the roof of the terrarium to mount a lamp.
This week, four chimpanzees were shot dead after escaping from the Furuviksparken in Gävle.
SD's animal rights policy spokesperson Yasmine Eriksson now announces that she wants a county board to review all zoos in the country and check whether they live up to the requirements of the law.
