This means that it now ends up in the range of 4.25–4.50 percent, as expected.
In Sweden, the policy rate is still at 2.5 percent.
Stock markets on Wall Street went from plus to minus after the announcement and gold also retreated.
The Swedish Stockholm Stock Exchange fell slightly, but then plunged by 1.4 percent on Thursday.
