The monthly change from October to November was 0.7 percent according to KPIF and 1 percent according to CPI, Statistics Norway writes in its press release.

According to the press release, food prices increase by 18.1 percent per year , fuel prices by 23.6 percent per year and electricity prices by 36.8 per year.

However, inflation is on the way down in the longer term, shows the producerprice index for October. Compared to October 2021, the producer price index increased by 18.7 percent (20.6 percent in September).

Since producer prices are still increasing faster than consumer prices, however, it could get significantly worse at the consumer level before any reductions in the inflation rate are seen .
