– The system of regulated immigration must not be abused. That is why we assign the Swedish Migration Agency a task to strengthen recall work, says Migration Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard (M) at a press conference.
There is no question of new legislation, but vacationers in the home country may indicate that there has been cheating when you got a residence permit and declared yourself a refugee. Then the residence permit can also be revoked according to current rules.
– If you go back within a short time after you have been granted a residence permit from the home country you left, but then still go back to the country as a tourist indicates that that you don't need the protection you stated in the application, says Maria Malmer Stenergard.
