At CES 2023 from January 5th, Intel is expected to present the B760 chipset for the new gaming mid-range as well as numerous other hybrid processors from the current Core i 13000 series (test ) introduce. Now the MSI MAG B760 Tomahawk WIFI DDR4 has been leaked, which relies on memory of the DDR4 generation.

MSI has been addressing more price-conscious users for years with the MAG Tomahawk series, which is aimed at gamers. Both AMD and Intel's current middle class, the B550 chipset (test) and the B660 chipset, such motherboards as the B550 Tomahawk and B660 Tomahawk are very popular.

There is also an integrated sound solution from Realtek and extensive connectivity via the I/O area of the mainboard and additional internal headers.

The starting signal for the new mainstream mainboards with the B760 chipset is to be given at the CES 2023 electronics trade fair in Las Vegas. With reduced equipment, these will represent a “cheaper” alternative to the models with Z790 chipsets that have already been introduced. For example, the MSI MAG B660 Tomahawk WIFI DDR4 is also priced at 215 euros – “cheap” is, as usual, a relative matter.
