Apple operating systems: iOS 16.2 and updates for Mac, iPad, Watch & HomePod
Apple updates its operating systems iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS and HomePodOS to version 16.2, 9.2 and 13.1 respectively. They offer some new features like “iMessage Contact Key Verification” and fix many bugs.

New Freeform App
While users can use the iMessage Contact Key Verification mentioned above to ensure that they only communicate with those people they intend to communicate with on all new Apple operating systems, Freeform is intended to enable collaboration with friends and colleagues on the Mac, iPhone and iPad to enhance. This collaborative whiteboard app offers Apple Pencil support and allows users to have fun with notes, post-it notes and graphics on a free layout while communicating with FaceTime or iMessage.

For the Apple Watch and the Apple Watch Ultra, the new watchOS 9.2 brings optimized battery management and improved accident detection, while macOS Ventura version 13.1 sees improvements in particular to the Home app, which now supports the proprietary and license-free Matter connection standard for cross-manufacturer home automation .

A feature for users to contact emergency services even when cellular network or Wi-Fi is not available on iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Pro models.
Lock screen
New settings allow you to hide wallpapers and notifications when the “Always On” display setting is enabled on iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Use the Sleep widget to view your current sleep data.
Use the Medication widget to view reminders and quickly access your plan.
Game Center
Game Center supports SharePlay for multiplayer games, so you can play alongside the participants in a FaceTime call .
The Activity widget lets you see what your friends are playing and their in-game achievements right on the Home screen.
