Domestic. The government increases support to Ukraine by SEK 600 million. It is happening through a new mechanism within the World Bank that aims to maintain access to energy, heat, healthcare and support agriculture and the education system.

– As incoming EU president, I want to send a strong signal that Sweden stands side by side with Ukraine. The EU is Ukraine's future. There should be no doubt about that, says Aid and Foreign Trade Minister Johan Forssell (M).
On December 13, Forssell will participate in a conference in Paris aimed at gathering support to strengthen Ukraine's civil infrastructure.
– Then I will take the opportunity to tell you about the Swedish support for the World Bank's new investment. Not least to get more countries to join the initiative, says Johan Forssell in a press release.
In November, the government announced Sweden's largest aid package to Ukraine to date.
